Having been a part of the Hyatt Regency Vancouver Hotel’s Gingerbread Lane for 20 years, I thought it was fitting to celebrate this one-of-a-kind milestone. It wasn’t even a tough decision to make as I felt this was for Team ROA, aka Team AWESOME, to get all cleaned up, celebrate, dine and dance (this is a MUST!)
Moving forward, I thank Team Hyatt for hosting the English Bay Room (my fave space as I see the city’s gorgeous skyline!), the Hotel’s Banquet and Culinary Teams for making this event an impeccably well-thought-out experience for all.
I thank Sam Lee, Johnny Kwok and Christine for ALWAYS dedicating to every detail this event needs (or sometimes, not needing at all! They are pure detail-oriented humans and are so generous, too.). The entire Banquet Team that made our event look so regal and fitting for “celebrities” attended only. (Look how everyone looks! Gorgeous and dapper!)
To Chef Daniel and his culinary Team for the yummiest food ever. You say we love to eat- we are in awe at how much food is prepared and wows our taste buds. The salmon melted in our mouth, the turkey- OHMYGOSH, the list goes on. Dessert- that is another story plot! Just say the offering is superb and refreshing.
