Our Valentine’s Day fresh floral ROA coloured boxes made its debut and if we may say, was a HIT! With our clients participating on our request to include their Love Letters or Stories, it made this month of LOVE a special one indeed. Here are a few of the Love Story and a Love Promise that we received.  And yes, we are confirmed to share with everyone.

Pride, Prejudice, & Passion

We met like a lot of people do, at our work area. We both work in theatre, and as luck would have it, we ended up working on a production together. It was a play written by an up-and-comer named Jane Austin; you probably never heard of it. I was up in the theatre rafters running lights for the production. We did not have too much time to chat during the show’s run, but there were moments of getting to know each other a little backstage when I had to prep candle-lite (fake) lanterns for her. She would later confess that she mostly fell for me not from anything I said but because of a baking contest we had during the production run. I made churros and chocolate sauce for the contest. It looks like I won first place.

Our first official date is a hotly contested debate between us. I consider our first date to be a fun stroll along the beach of Iona. She does not believe that our first date because she was seeing someone else at the time. We spent the afternoon meandering along the wave break out to the north arm jetty, talking and learning about each other. We spent considerably less time coming back as the tide came in, making us run to stay ahead of it.

To cap off our wonderful trek along the beach, we followed it up the most romantic way possible by having Swedish meatballs at Ikea. I had told her that I had never been to one, and she could not believe it. I have now been to Ikea at least five times. The rest is, as they say, history. I love exploring the world with her, and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for us.

Sincerely,

Mr. Darcy
